The book

NOTHING WAS EVER HIDDEN

a short book about what this all actually costs

Every tradition in here has been sold to somebody as a secret. None of them are. This is where the sources are, what they actually say, how to check anyone charging you for them - and who profited from your not knowing.

The counter

Every promise in this trade, answered

These are the actual phrases in bold, and what is true underneath each one. Every answer is checkable against a source printed in the book.

“Unlock the secrets”

Nothing is locked. The texts are in public libraries, scanned, free, in translation. A secret is something a person keeps from you - and keeping it is the entire product.

“Ancient wisdom”

Some of it is. Your rainbow chakra chart was fixed in 1977. Tarot's Egyptian origin was invented in 1781 by a man who could not read Egyptian. The Secret came from a book published in 1910 that is free today. Ancient is a claim with a date attached, and the date can be looked up.

“Reveal your true self”

They have never met you. A reading that describes almost everyone has been a known effect since 1949 - Forer gave every student the same profile and they rated it above four out of five for accuracy.

“Raise your vibration”

Vibration in physics has a unit and an instrument. Vibration as sold has neither, and no two sellers agree on the scale. Ask for the number. The silence is the answer.

“Channelled” · “downloaded” · “initiated lineage”

All three make the claim unfalsifiable on purpose. A claim that cannot be wrong cannot be checked, and a claim that cannot be checked is worth exactly what you can verify of it: nothing.

“This knowledge is not for everyone”

It was public domain before they found it. Out of copyright is precisely what makes it cheap to sell - no licence, no author to pay. The one thing that never makes it into the product is the address it came from.

And the one nobody says

Not one listing tells you what its product cannot do. That silence is where the whole margin lives. Every claim in this book carries its own limit, printed beside it.

Contents

Five parts, thirty-nine pages

  1. The fence - how it got built, who built it, and the words that give it away.
  2. The West - The Secret and its 1910 source. Tarot and 1781. Your astrology app's seventeenth-century houses. The pentacles their own translator called a reconstruction.
  3. The East - the chakra colours as the 1919 translation actually gives them. The I Ching's eighteen manipulations, printed in English since 1882.
  4. How to check anyone - four tests that work on any seller in this trade. Including us.
  5. The library - every source in the book, with the address you can read it at, free.

Part five is the point. A book whose last chapter hands you everything in it, for nothing.

Straight with you

It is written. It is not on sale here yet.

Thirty-nine pages, five parts, nine quotations - and every one of those quotations is checked, word for word, against the public-domain scan it came from, by a script that runs every time the book is rebuilt. If a quote is not in the book it claims to come from, the build fails.

Five of the sources are printed inside it as photographs of the actual pages, with the archive address underneath, so you can go and read the line yourself rather than take ours. The engravings that open each part are generated, and each one says so on its own caption - a book about telling evidence from decoration cannot afford to blur the two.
